Abstract: Safety factors that influence each other should be evaluated and considered as a whole. This study adopts a structural equation model to calculate correlation coefficients based on analysis and classification system of human factors and identification of classification and hierarchical relationship of human factors. The weights of human factors were determined using a judgment matrix and an analytic hierarchy process (AHP) model. With an analysis on the rank of the factors in importance, we have revealed weak links in the safety management and thus improved the safety of construction operation.
